I) A) Use one of the outlines given below to write a mystery story. 10
A girl goes to visit her cousins - they live in an old house - she has never met them - cousins are unfriendly - they tell her that there is a ghost in the house that rings the bell at midnight - bell rings - the girl is nervous - one of the cousins tell her that they have been playing a trick on her - she doesn't complain to their mother - they become friends - the bell rings at midnight again - but none of them is ringing it - then who is ringing the bell ?
OR
Two friends decide to crack the mystery of a haunted house - many strange things happening at midnight - bells ringing - owls hootong - strange noises hushed voices - one by one shadows emerge - trying to share the booty in hushed voice - two friends send a message to police that it is the robbers hide out.
B) Write a speech to be delivered on one of the occasions given below: 10
You are the Cultural Secretary of your college. Write thank you speech on the occasion of the Inaugural function of the talents day being held at your college.
OR
You are one of the organizers of a seminar being held at your college.
Write speech, welcoming all the delegates, to be delivered at the Inaugural function.
